Welcome to our brand-new Forest School and Bushcraft Progression Week—an exciting adventure designed to ignite curiosity, build resilience, and develop essential outdoor skills for children aged 7 to 11.
Hosted at Girton Glebe Primary School, this immersive week-long experience will take young explorers on a journey through fire lighting, shelter building, outdoor cooking, and nature-based crafts.
Each day is packed with hands-on learning, teamwork, and the thrill of outdoor survival, all within a safe and engaging forest school environment. With expert guidance, children will gain confidence, independence, and a deeper connection to the natural world. Whether they’re crafting tools, cooking over an open fire, or mastering essential bushcraft skills, this is a week they won’t forget!
We believe that outdoor adventures go hand in hand with delicious, nourishing food!
Each day, children will have the opportunity to involve themselves in helping prepare and cook lunch over a campfire for the group to enjoy, with a varied menu including macaroni cheese, Spaghetti bolognese, Fajitas, Chilli Con Carne Tacos, and wrap pizzas. We also provide a morning snack of fresh fruit and a homemade afternoon treat, such as toasted apple slices, bannock bread, fruit tea and biscuits, and hot chocolate with marshmallows.
While we provide lunch and snacks, children are welcome to bring a packed lunch or personal snacks if preferred.
Dietary requirements will be catered for which will be outlined in your registration.
Drinks will be available throughout the day, but we ask that all children bring a reusable water bottle to ensure they stay hydrated while exploring and learning in the forest
